Itinerary:

Aurangabad is a town of historic beauty surrounded in stories and artefacts from the past. From the Mughal beauty of Bibi ka Maqbara to the Jain sculptures in Ellora, everything narrates a story in itself. Our trip does take a long time span but it does put you in the valley of indescribable emotions.

Day 1

Arrival at Aurangabad and local sightseeing

We begin the trip with the arrival of tourist in Aurangabad followed by the sightseeing of local beauties located inside the town, Bibi ka Maqbara the replica of Taj Mahal built by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in the memories of his wife Rabia sultan. Then proceed to Panchakki, an engineering genius built by the Mughal workers by grindstones acting as a flour mill. After witnessing what the city holds inside its heart, take a look at what surrounds the town. Visit Daulatabad fort, formerly know as the Devgiri fort. The fort is famous for its trick defence systems and numerous escape routes. The last sightseeing is to the Ellora caves(closed on Tuesday) located 30 km outside Aurangabad. A series of 34 caves built based on the Hindu, Jain and Buddhist cultures are a jewel to preserve in your photo memories.

 

Day 2

Visit Ajanta caves followed by departure from Aurangabad

Taking a delicious breakfast, we proceed to Ajanta caves, which is a collect of 24 core Buddhist caves(closed on Monday). These are located 100 km from Aurangabad. After a fulfilling journey, the trip is ready for departure now.
